rehydration IV DRIP

WIDELY USED TO PREVENT OR CORRECT PROBLEMS WITH FLUID AND ELECTROLYTE STATUS

IV Rehydration therapy is widely used to prevent or correct problems with fluid and electrolyte status when oral administration is not possible or it is impaired. Iv fluids enter the bloodstream directly, bypassing the waiting time associated with oral rehydration.

We use 0.9% sodium chloride solution (also called normal saline), which is common in IV bags. While saline works well on its own, it’s also an effective delivery system for vitamins, minerals, and other supplements.

The tiny particles of sodium chloride make this an isotonic crystalloid solution. The sodium chloride easily passes from the bloodstream into the cells and tissues of the body, creating fluid balances in and outside of cells. When the body’s fluid levels are balanced, along with oxygen and electrolyte levels, this is called homeostasis, and it ensures our bodies function at their best.

CAN HYDRATION IV TREATMENT ACT AS A HANGOVER CURE?

IV hydration therapy is a safe and effective way to rehydrate your body and replenish lost electrolytes. It can be a helpful treatment for people who are hungover, as it can help to relieve symptoms such as headache, nausea, fatigue, and dehydration. We do offer a tailored IV drip especially tailored to treating hangovers, our Hangover rescue IV!
